Christine Hazel Decker – Anti-Bullying Advocate
Christine Hazel Decker brings her unique perspective on how to deal with bullying to Transortium’s Facebook network. Christine, AKA The Bully Whisperer, mentors viewers on how to #FliptheScript with her video advice column. As a transgender person who has been in the public eye, Christine has experienced extreme bullying on the Internet as most trans people do. She has not let it destroy her soul, though at times it has threatened to do just that. Instead, Christine uses boldness, humor, and compassion to transform the bullying dynamic into human connection. Instead of feeling weak, Christine uses compassion to empathize with the weakness experienced by those who bully others. She encourages all of us to embrace our power, stand tall, and combat ignorance with understanding.
